My name is Staela. I'm a creative arts facilitator, an artist, an introvert, and a gentle space-maker based in Brooklyn, NY.

I love meaningful connections made through art and play, and I collaborate with brands and communities to create engaging, hands-on experiences that are both restorative and joyful.

• I'm Korean American and often draw from cultural heritage in my creative practice, especially through maedeup, the art of traditional Korean decorative knots.
• I've worked with people across generations, from Gen Z creatives to 90-year-old storytellers.
• My background includes retail leadership, wellness, visual design, and senior care and I now blend all of that into a creative practice grounded in presence and play.
• When I'm not making, I'm probably solving puzzles, playing board games, scrolling through FB marketplace, or napping with my dog, Yubu.
